Do you accept my insurance?

We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and most major private insurers including UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Empire BCBS, Cigna, and Humana. If your carrier is not listed, call us and we will verify benefits before transport.

Will I get a bill after my transport?

Accepted Answer

For insured patients, we bill your insurance first. You may receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurer. If there is a patient responsibility (copay, deductible, coinsurance), we will send a balance bill only after insurance processes the claim.

Question 3

What is a PCS and why do I need one?

Accepted Answer

A Physician Certification Statement (PCS) is a doctor's order stating that ambulance transport is medically necessary. Medicare and most Medicaid plans require a PCS for non-emergency transports. We help obtain this from your physician.

Question 4

How long does insurance billing take?

Accepted Answer

Medicare: 14–30 days. Medicaid: 21–45 days. Private insurance: 30–60 days. Workers comp: 30–90 days. We submit all claims electronically for faster processing.

Question 5

What if my claim is denied?

Accepted Answer

Our billing team reviews every denial. If a claim is denied, we will appeal on your behalf, correct any errors, and resubmit. You will be notified at each step. Denial rate is under 9% across all payers.
